Storytel audiobook Application review

Toaday, We will see review of Storytel auadiobook Application review. This application is easy to use and heaven for Book lovers. My experience is amazing. I really like the ‘Storytel’ app. I listen to the storytel for the five days except for one Saturday and Sunday.

Introduction to Storytel

I have lived in Pune for the past five years. I love reading and had finished reading all the books brought from store in lockdown. The literature read so far is Pu. L. Deshpande, and. P. Almost all the novels of Kale, Ranjit Desai, Sane Guruji, Shivaji Sawant and Khandekar etc.  I was doing engineering. So I didn’t have much time to read. but I was hoping to read Marathi books. Then the search started to get Marathi books online.

Suddenly one day I came to know about the ‘Storytel’ app through the YouTube channel ‘Bharatiya Digital Party’. At the time, he was promoting the paid ‘Storytel’ app. The ‘Storytel’ app offers a 30-day trial service. I started and thought about using it. Let’s see, if you don’t like it,  Don’t buy it. But then the magic happened and I got addicted to the ‘Storytel’ app. Most of the time in India it costs Rs 200. I got subscription but I recover the full amount. So far I have listened to 493 books.

Languages of Storytel

Now lets talk about a few books. The Storytel app has one book in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, Urdu, Assamese and Oriya. I only listen to Marathi and Hindi, I just like to read English.

This app has a lot of Marathi and Hindi books which are mostly read by professional voice over artists and cinema / TV artists so it is nice to listen. Some are my favorite notable advocates.Krinal Alve, Saurabh Gogte: Most of Suhas Shirwalkar’s books. Very good and khumasdar advocacy. Even the occasions stand before the eyes.

Anupama Takmoghe, Suhas Shirwalkar, Bha. Ra. Bhagwat and other books. The reading is beautiful but the sound is very pathetic. The whole point is that the listener is saddened by the feelings of the characters in the book but does not want to stop listening.

There are some best audiobooks. The books he read are by novice writers. Crime, short stories etc. have been read. Very colorful recitation, each character seems to be experiencing the story by standing in front.

Nachiket Devasthal is my favorite advocate. The peculiarity of this is that even the most fragmentary books are read in such a way that interest in the story is automatically generated. I have heard all the books read by him. Mystery stories, novels, short stories are the types that are mainly recited.

All kinds of books can be heard in the Storytel app. Classical literature (Khandekar, Shivaji Sawant, Ranjit Desai, Madgulkar, Matkari etc.), crime, novels, horror stories, fine, informative, translated books, personification etc.

It provides an excellent platform for notable budding writers. Niranjan Medhekar is one of the writers who published the thriller “Serial Killer”. It is based on a true story on Storytel, recited by Nachiket Purnapatre. Newera Publications is first publisher of the novel.

“Ajatashatru” is best novel. Sumedh is wrior of novel. Novel is based on the life of Ajatashatru. He was the son of Magadha emperor Bimbisara. It has two parts. Newera Publications is first part publisher .There are still plenty of readers and books to try out by downloading the Storytel app.

So far I have written only about Marathi. I have not written anything about Hindi books yet. I already knew about Hindi literature. Listening to my Hindi books has increased since I started using Storytel.  I liked crime and classical literature in Hindi. The new writers’ crime series are in Hindi. While Premchand, Rabindranath Tagore, Manto, Khushwant Singh, Rahi Masoom Raja, Taslima Nasreen, Narendra Kohli, Nirmal Verma, Tahmina Durrani and many more are available in Storytel. I am simply listening to the third part of the book volume “Mahasamar” written by Narendra Kohli. I finished that in 1 day.

My opinion

If you want to write about storytelling like that, you can write a lot. I am writing this answer now. Storytel is missing some old classical books. It should include more books as soon as possible. Some of the books are very good but the reading is very good. Sometimes even very veteran artists read nonsense. There are many translated books in Hindi. But the recitation is bad.

For example, Leo Tolstoy: Anna Karenina promises to fall asleep in five minutes, Jack London books. A Marathi artist has read this in Marathi, I don’t understand what’s going on. It’s a monotonous reading.

But overall my experience is good. Storytel is a great app for people who want to satisfy their craving for reading, have low availability of books, and have limited time. The specialty of this is that books in our mother tongue are available at low prices. Pricing is modertate. You can get dicount for subscription of 3 months , 6 months and 12 months.

Thanks. I hope you will like Storytel audiobook Application review.
